INTRODUCTION

The Fordway Centre is a Short Stay School for up to 24 pupils aged from 4 to 11 years. 

It is part of the Alternative Education Service East. 

All the pupils at Fordway have presented with emotional and behavioural difficulties in mainstream school and have either been permanently excluded, or come to us on a dual roll where they attend two days per week. 

During their time at Fordway, pupils are assessed regularly, in order to monitor their progress in both curriculum and behaviour.

Annual Reviews are called where applicable and future placements are discussed.
