The Fordway Centre Pupil Referral Unit is a centre for pupils aged from 4-11, (Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2), who are presenting with BESD, (Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties).

Pupils follow the National Curriculum and a specific behaviour management programme.

After a period of between a few weeks and two years, pupils may either be integrated back into mainstream school or take up a place in an appropriate special school.

Pupils are either full-time or part-time according to their needs.
