The
Fordway Centre Short Stay School, (formerly known as a Pupil Referral
Unit), is a centre for pupils aged from
4-11, (Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2), who are presenting with BESD,
(Behaviour,
Emotional and Social Difficulties).
Pupils
follow the National Curriculum and a specific
behaviour management programme.
After a
period of between one term and two years, pupils may either be
integrated back into mainstream school or take up a place in an
appropriate special school.
Pupils
are either full-time or part-time according to their needs.

Fordway pupils now have free
access to the
Literacy, Maths and Science
activities on Education
City
from home, at
any time.
